November Meditations in Hanko Finland

After the shocking U.S. presidential election result I decided that I need to take a break from all political and economical news flows. No more talking heads. No more analyses. Enough is enough.

As a Finnish citizen I'm not even allowed to vote in U.S. elections. Nevertheless, like many others, I followed the presidential campaigns closely and watched all the debates. Actually, even here in Europe it would have been very difficult to avoid following the elections due to the 24/7 media bombardment.

I'm still sad and angry about the result. It'll take a long time to process what just happened and why. Though I'm an eternal optimist, I find it extremely hard to tell myself that things will eventually turn out for the best. I have a very bad feeling about this.

I don't know exactly how long my news break will last, but in the meantime I'm going to spend a lot of time taking photos and shooting videos in the beautiful nature of Hanko, Finland. Needless to say it's extremely relaxing and therapeutic.

I just finished post processing this short video, which shows you the record amount of snow we've had in November. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
